Radnor School Employee Accused of Showing Students Sex Videos

RADNOR, Pa. (CBS)—Another employee at a Main Line school for children with behavioral issues is accused of inappropriate behavior.

Police responded to The Village School on Feb. 9 after they were contacted about inappropriate pictures being shown to students.

According to Radnor Police Lt. Christopher Flanagan, Maya Danee Johnson, 35, of Philadelphia — who was a counselor and school aide -- allegedly showed three juvenile students and one adult student inappropriate pictures and even flashed students multiple times.

"Ms. Johnson had also flashed the students we had just mentioned, her buttocks at different points and time while at the school," said Flanagan.

Police say some of the students saw videos on a cell phone.

"And it was a video that was on Ms. Johnson's cell phone that she was playing out in the own and two minors saw that," said Det. T.J. Schreiber.

Police say the videos Johnson showed the students was of her performing a sex act.

"There is an extremely inappropriate situation. I don't feel the need to go into it," said Flanagan. "It's highly inappropriate, vulgar, but something like that did occur."

The school was immediately notified by the students, police said.

Johnson has been arrested and is facing charges of corruption of minors and disorderly conduct.

Police say Johnson was previously employed with five other schools where she may have come in contact with students.

Police say they are following up with those schools.

This comes just weeks after a teacher at the Village, Nina Scott, was charged with dozens of counts of Institutional Sexual Assault for alleged conduct with a female student.
