Pregnant Woman Critically Injured, 2 Juveniles Also Hurt Following Possible Racing Crash In North Philadelphia, Police Say

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A pregnant woman is in extremely critical condition after she was struck by a car in North Philadelphia. It happened at Broad Street and Susquehanna Avenue, just before 5 a.m.

Police say the two cars may have been racing when one of the cars lost control, striking the pregnant woman. According to officials, the woman's baby was delivered by hospital staff and was pronounced dead.

Two minors in one of the vehicles were also injured.

Pregnant Woman, 2 Juveniles Injured In Two Car Accident In North Philadelphia

Officials say both of the teenage drivers were unlicensed and will be arrested for DUI and related charges.
