Police Officer, K9 Unit Involved In Car Accident
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A police officer and a K9 unit were involved in a collision with another vehicle on Monday night.
The accident occurred around 7:00 pm at Woodhaven and Thornton roads.
Both the police officer and the driver of the other vehicle were transferred to the hospital in stable condition.
The K9 unit was taken by to a veterinarian for observation.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
