Police: Man Charged After Woman Reports Ex-Boyfriend Killed Kittens With Bow And Arrow

GREENWICH Twp., NJ (CBS) -- Police say a 32-year-old man was arrested and charged with animal cruelty after two dead cats were found dead at a home in Greenwich Township.

Authorities say they responded to the residence on Adalisa Avenue after a woman reported her ex-boyfriend killed two of her kittens with a bow and arrow.

Officers say they found one dead kitten in the backyard and another in the refrigerator.

Police say Timothy B. Cain is charged with animal cruelty, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and harassment.

His bail was set at $7,500 and he was lodged in Salem County Jail in default.
