Police Investigating After Bullet Found At High School In Delaware County

By Kristen Johanson

WAYNE, Pa. (CBS) -- A bullet found inside Radnor Township High School in Delaware County Monday morning prompted a lockdown and K-9 sweep through the school.

A student walking through the first floor hallway found a 9 mm bullet on the ground and reported it to school officials, who immediately called police. It happened around 10 a.m.

Radnor Police Lt. Andy Block says the school was then placed on lockdown for a few hours.

K-9 units swept through the building, checking for any other ammunition or devices, but no other threats were found.

All after school activities were cancelled.

Police continue to investigate how a bullet got into a school.
