Police: Woman Injured After Stray Bullet Hits Chester Home
CHESTER, Pa. (CBS) -- A woman suffered an eye injury after bullets were fired into a home in Chester on Tuesday evening.
Police say shots were fired into a home on the 900 block of Tilhman Street.
Authorities say a 42-year-old woman was inside the home playing with her granddaughter when she heard the gunfire.
"After hearing the shots, she stated that she felt a sharp pain above her eye, then felt blood running down her face," said police in a news release.
Police say the woman suffered an eye injury from shrapnel as a result of the gunfire.
The woman was transported to an area hospital where she's listed in good condition.
Detectives are investigating the shooting.
No arrests have been made.
