Pit Bull Attack Leaves Boy Hospitalized In Wilmington

WILMINGTON, De. (CBS) -- According to police, a boy was hospitalized in Wilmington after being attacked by a pit bull on Wednesday night.

The incident took place along N. Washington and W. 27th Streets, shortly before 7:00 p.m.

Officials say the boy was attacked and bitten by the dog.

He was transported to AI DuPont Children's Trauma Center.
