Phillies Rough Season Turned Into Horror Movie Trailer
By Ray Boyd
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Get your popcorn ready.
There are a lot of words you could use to describe the current Phillies season. If "scary" wasn't already one of those words, it is now.
2 Point Lead created a video that takes the Phillies current campaign and turns it into a classic horror movie trailer.
The video opens with the following warning:
"The following trailer contains scenes of terrible baseball, suitable for mature audiences only. Viewer discretion is advised. "
"This summer, fear is spelled with a P," the ominous background voice says toward the end of the video. "I Know How Awful You Are This Summer," evokes some of the worst images of the Phillies season.
It shows the worst of the worst bloopers, Cole Hamels amazing no-hitter only to remind us he left town days later and teases us with images of the 2008 World Series.
The Phillies may not have the makings of a contending baseball team at the moment. However, they might have the cast in place to produce the summer's premiere horror flick.
