Phillies Continue Series With Pirates Behind O'Sullivan

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Tonight it is game two of the four-game series between the Phillies and the Pirates at Citizens Bank Park.

The Phillies lost the opener in this series last night, 4-3, but the real news came after the game when it was revealed that Cody Asche was being sent down to AAA to work on playing left field after spending the season playing third. It is expected that relatively soon the Phillies will call up prospect Maikel Franco to play third.

Sean O'Sullivan will start tonight's game for the Phillies. This will be his first start since going on the DL with a knee issue back on April 22nd. He made two starts prior to getting hurt, going 0-1 with a 4.91 ERA.

O'Sullivan's mound opponent will be veteran right-hander A.J. Burnett. He has been very sharp for Pittsburgh this season, going 1-1 in 6 starts with a 1.66 ERA. Of course the 38-year-old Burnett pitched for the Phillies last season, going 8-18 with a 4.59 ERA.

Here is the Phillies lineup tonight against Burnett:

1. LF Ben Revere
2. SS Freddy Galvis
3. 2B Chase Utley
4. 1B Ryan Howard
5. RF Jeff Francoeur
6. 3B Cesar Hernandez
7. CF Odubel Herrera
8. C Carlos Ruiz
9. P Sean O'Sullivan
