12-year-old boy hospitalized after shooting in Philadelphia's Kingsessing section: police
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A 12-year-old boy was shot in the leg in Philadelphia's Kingsessing section on Monday, police said.
Police responded to a house on the 5700 block of Kingsessing Avenue just after 3:30 p.m., where the 12-year-old was shot once in the right leg while in the home's kitchen.
Three men are being held for investigation, police said.
Police took him to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where he is said to be listed as stable.
No weapons have been recovered, police said.
