Police Searching For Suspects Wanted In West Philadelphia Corner Market Double Shooting

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police hope surveillance video helps them catch the gunmen wanted in a shooting at a West Philadelphia corner market. It happened Monday night at 54th Street and Wyalusing Avenue.

The two suspects opened the door, started firing and ran off.

"Walked by the store, peered inside, walked by and then came back, opened the door and just started firing," Philadelphia Police Capt. Frank Milillo said.

The gunfire left an 18-year-old man fighting for his life.

"He was shot twice in his buttocks, once in the neck and once in the left arm," Capt. Milillo told Eyewitness News.

That shooting victim is in stable but critical condition. Police believe he was the intended target.

A store employee was shot before crawling to safety. That employee was left with a graze wound but is already back to work.

"I was working in the kitchen, and some people arrived here and were shooting. But I did not see anything," the store clerk said.

Police say one of the suspects was wearing unique pants.

"He had dark pants but he had a reflective, some type of reflective patch on the bottom right leg of his pants," Capt. Milillo said.

As police continue investigating, they're hoping you can help.

"If they have any information they can provide us with, if they've seen these males prior to the shooting, if they could give us a call here at Southwest Detectives," Capt. Milillo said.

Police say there is no motive for the shooting at this time.

CBS3's Kimberly Davis contributed to this report.
