South Philadelphia hit-and-run leaves person dead, police say
A person was killed in a hit-and-run involving a tow truck in South Philadelphia Sunday night, police said.
It happened at South 26th Street and Penrose Avenue near the George C. Platt Memorial Bridge around 9:30 p.m.
Police are searching for a tow truck believed to be involved in the hit-and-run.
