Pedestrian Killed After Struck By Two Cars On Street Road In Bensalem

BENSALEM, Pa. (CBS) - A man is dead after he was hit by two vehicles as he tried to cross Street Road in Bensalem, Bucks County on Wednesday morning, police say. It happened on Street Road and Brookwood Drive, around 5:20 a.m.

Bensalem Police say the first vehicle hit a man who was attempting to get to the 7-Eleven, across the street. That vehicle swerved and slammed into the Liberty Gas Station sign along Street Road. Investigators say the vehicle had a green light and the pedestrian had a red light.

The pedestrian was hit a second time, by another passing vehicle. Police say that vehicle pulled over in the parking lot of First Stop Tobacco at 1606 Street Road. The female driver of that vehicle exited her car and was seen screaming and making a phone call, before leaving the scene.

Police are looking to identify the driver of the vehicle below, as they believe it may have been involved in the accident. Any witnesses to the accident are asked to contact Bensalem Police at 215-633-3669.
