PECO: About 5,000 South Philadelphia Residents Without Power
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A PECO spokesperson says a problem with an underground cable or piece of equipment has left 5,000 South Philadelphia residents without power.
The spokesperson says crews are evaluating the problem and they are working to restore power as soon as possible, however, they did not give a timetable just yet.
PECO says the affected area is the vicinity of the 1000 block of Tree Street.
