Officials: Person Found Dead In West Philadelphia Fire
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A fire ripped through a home in West Philadelphia on Thursday night, claiming the life of one individual.
Crews were called out to the 300 block of N. 64th Street around 8:30 p.m. Heavy fire was coming from the second floor of a two story rowhome near Callowhill Street. The building has a storefront on the first floor.
Officials say the fire was placed under control at 9:13 p.m. They add that one person was found dead on the second floor.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
