Nova Returns To Gridiron After Week Off
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- In local college football, Villanova will be on the road this weekend, visiting Maine.
Villanova Head Coach Andy Talley breaks down the 2-4 Black Bears:
"Maine, right now, plays great defense. They are struggling a little bit offensively, averaging about 14 points a game. We have to make sure we keep them under that average and see if we can get some points on the board, but they have always been tough defensively."
The Wildcats are coming off their bye week, and Talley says it was just in time for his banged up squad:
"It was a great week for us. If we had played Saturday, we would have probably had seven starters that wouldn't play, so this was a great week to get our composure back, get some health, get some rest and get ready for Maine this week."
