Nnamdi Asomugha's Contract With Eagles Ranked 7th Worst In NFL History

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- We will never forget Nnamdi Asomugha in Philadelphia.

For all the wrong reasons.

Asomugha was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2011 to a five-year deal worth $60 million ($25 million guaranteed) and ESPN.com ranked the deal as the 7th worst in NFL history on Wednesday. The list, compiled by dozens of ESPN experts, excludes rookie contracts.

Asomugha came to Philly (aka the "dream team") from the Oakland Raiders, as a three-time Pro Bowl winning 30-year-old cornerback. In March of 2013, after multiple touchdowns allowed and lunches eaten in his car, he was released.

For what it's worth, Donovan McNabb's 2010 five-year, $78 million contract with the Washington Redskins was ranked No. 20 on ESPN.com's list of top-25 worst NFL contracts.
