By Chelsea Lacey-Mabe
VOORHEES, N.J. (CBS) -- The Voorhees Police Department went on a rescue mission Sunday morning to save some ducks.
Officer Mike Perez and Voorhees Volunteer Fire Chief, Harry Lauletta freed several ducklings that were stuck in a storm drain near Kirkbride Road.
The ducks were then reunited with their mother and continued on their way.
A resident who saw the whole rescue operation said this isn't the first time the department has come out to free the ducklings.
It probably won't be the last either.
