Police: Vehicle Crash On I-95 In Newark Claims Pedestrian's Life
NEWARK, De. (CBS) -- Police were on the scene in Newark, New Castle County on Friday night after a fatal accident took place on I-95 involving a pedestrian.
Authorities say the crash occurred on I-95 heading south between SR273 and Exit 1. The incident happened around 7:52 p.m.
Police say that they are in the early stages of investigating the incident. The pedestrian involved has died as a result of their injuries.
I-95 southbound, north of Exit 1 was reduced to one lane. Commuters in the area were advised to seek an alternate route.
