New PA Law Lets Drivers Run Red Lights Legally
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Following a 60-day grace period, a new law is now in effect that lets drivers in Pennsylvania run red lights legally.
The measure allows drivers to treat unresponsive traffic signals as stop signs.
That's because some intersections use weight detection systems that trigger light sensors from red to green.
The bill was originally written with motorcycle drivers in mind but was expanded to include all other vehicles.
