New Jersey Mother Charged With Murder Of Missing 23-Month-Old Son Expected In Court Thursday

BRIDGETON, N.J. (CBS) - A New Jersey mother charged with killing her 23-month-old son is expected to appear in court on Thursday.
Nakira Griner, 24, was charged with first-degree murder, endangering the welfare of a child, and other related charges. The remains of her son, 23-month-old Daniel Griner Jr., were found in Bridgeton around 3 a.m. Saturday morning in the yard of the toddler's home, according to Cumberland County prosecutors.
The discovery came hours after Griner reported him missing.
A memorial is now growing in front of their house on Woodland Drive.
Police have not released any information about the circumstances surrounding his death.
