Moyer goes the Distance in another Phils win

Led by Jamie Moyer's 33rd career complete game, the Phils won their 2nd in a row beating the Padres 6-2 down at Citizens Bank Park. Moyer allowed just 3 baserunners in the final 6 innings. The win, the 264th of his career, and 100th after turning 40. Time of game: 2 hours and 2 minutes.

Offensively the Phils knocked in 4 runs in the 3rd. Ryan Howard a 2 rbi double. Chase Utley an rbi single. Raul Ibanez a sac fly rbi. Jayson Werth a 2 run homerun in the 5th. Raul Ibanez the only batter in the lineup not to record at least 1 hit.

Tonight's win marked the 1st time in the last 13 games the Phils have scored more than 3 runs. Following the 4 game slump, the Phils are 2-0 thus far in the 7 game homestand. Tommorrow afternoon at 1:30 on 610wip is game 3 of the 4 game set with San Diego.
