Sunny, comfortable weather greets Philadelphia region for first day of school. Here's the forecast.

Monday brings us beautiful weather to start the week in the Philadelphia region, with sunshine, low humidity and highs near 82. 

Outdoor plans look great, with only a very limited chance for a late-day shower. Most areas stay dry; you're safe to leave the umbrellas at home.

Monday remains clear and comfortable, with lows in the lower 60s around Philadelphia and some 50s in the suburbs.

NEXT big weather change

The nice weather continues through Wednesday. Tuesday stays sunny and comfortable with a high near 82, while Wednesday turns a bit warmer, reaching the mid-80s.

Humidity returns Thursday as a warm front lifts through the region. Showers and thunderstorms become increasingly likely Thursday afternoon and evening, followed by another chance for storms Friday into Saturday as a cold front approaches.
