Maurice Hill, Man Accused Of Shooting 6 Philadelphia Police Officers, Must Remain Behind Bars Until Trial, Judge Rules
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The man who allegedly shot six police officers, causing an hours-long standoff in Nicetown-Tioga last summer, faced a judge virtually Thursday. Maurice Hill is facing dozens of charges.
The judge ruled Hill must stay behind bars as he awaits trial.
The standoff happened on North 15th Street last August during an attempted drug raid. None of the officers died.
