ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (CBS) – With winter in the air and a bit of snow on the ground, it can be hard to even imagine the warm days of summer.

Perhaps this will help: A massive slip-and-slide is coming to the Jersey Shore – Atlantic City, to be exact.

It's called Slide the City, and it's scheduled for sometime in August 2015.

"Slide the City is a family friendly slip-and-slide water event," the website explains.

The gigantic padded slide is 1,000 feet – longer than three football fields – and will be set up for one day only. Guests register to slide down it once during the day and will get a mouth guard and a water gun. Inflatable tubes are available for sale, or you can buy your own at the event.

Oh, and if you're feeling left out, Philadelphians, don't worry – the website says a Slide the City is "coming soon" to Philly.
