Lower Township Police Report Rash Of Car Burglaries

LOWER Twp., N.J., (CBS) – Police in Lower Township, New Jersey say they have experienced a recent rash of car burglaries.

According to Lower Township Police, officers responded to several car burglaries and thefts from motor vehicles on Friday, April 10 through Monday, April 13.

Police say a large portion of the incidents were isolated to the west side of Bayshore Road in the Villas section of the Township.

Police are asking residents to be mindful when leaving their vehicles, ensuring they are locked at all times.

At this time, police say the vehicles targeted were unlocked and valuables were in view.

The Lower Township Police Department is asking that all residents be vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately to 609-886-2711, or anyone having information can report it via The Lower Township Police Confidential Tipline, at 609-886-1619, extension 156 or via Nixle.
