Longtime Mummer Struck, Killed By Car While Crossing Road In Northeast Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Investigators say the man hit by a car and killed Tuesday night in Northeast Philadelphia was a longtime mummer. Jim Trinacria, 57, was crossing Knights Road when he was hit.
He played in local string bands for more than 40 years and is a member of the Woodland String Band Hall of Fame.
He leaves behind a wife and two daughters.
The 29-year-old driver of the car that hit him remained at the scene.
