JFK Terminal Evacuated After Report Of Shots Fired

NEW YORK (CNN) -- Police are evacuating Terminal 8 at JFK airport in New York after Port Authority Police received a call of shots fired in the departures area, according to spokesman Joe Pentangelo.
There are currently no injuries, no arrests and no confirmation of shots fired. However, Port Authority police are evacuating the terminal at this time to be cautious, Pentangelo said.
A ground stop has been issued at the airport due to "security" until 11:30 p.m. ET, according to the FAA command system website.
