How To Score Free Burritos This Summer
DENVER, Colo. (CBS) -- Burrito lovers rejoice. Chipotle has announced a rewards program that can earn customers up to nine free burritos by the end of the summer.
Starting July 1 people can visit any participating Chipotle location to pick up their Chiptopia Summer Rewards card to start earning free food.
Their very first purchase will earn card holders a free order of chips and guac.
After that, customers will earn one free burrito after every fourth, eighth and 11th burrito or other $6 entree purchased in the same month. That translates to three free burritos for July, August and September for a grand total of nine.
Customers who manage to win at least one burrito in each month will earn one additional entree. Those who won two burritos, each of the three months will earn $20 worth of Chipotle merchandise swag. And a catered lunch for 20 people will be awarded to card holders who manage to score all nine burritos.
