How To Be A Beekeeper
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Have you ever thought of keeping bees and having your own honey? Beekeeping is a fascinating hobby, it helps ensure plants in your neighborhood get pollinated and it gives you access to local honey, which is said to help fight allergies.
More and more people are becoming home beekeepers these days, and you can learn to do it yourself from people with a lot of experience. Tonight, the Delaware Beekeepers are holding a FREE Introduction to the Art and Science of Beekeeping from 7 to 9 pm, at the University of Delaware in Newark. This class will give you a good overview of beekeeping and teach you how to get started.
