Alright ladies and gents, July is here.

Not only is it the most American month of the year where we celebrate the Fourth of July by eating too many hot dogs and drinking too many beers, but it's also prime bathing suit season. Yep, we're about one whole month into summer and still have one whole month to go at the very least- so you don't want to ruin all that hard work you put into getting that perfect beach bod quite yet, so put cheeseburger #4 down.

We know you want to celebrate the fourth and every other holiday while keeping that six pack in tact (of abs, we know a six pack of beer doesn't stand a chance), so for some tasty and healthy food and an awesome time, how about heading to Helm?

Helm is a new and contemporary American BYOB restaurant that features only the freshest seasonal ingredients from local urban farmers, so you know it's going to be good. Owners and chefs Kevin D'Egidio and Michael Griffiths are also pretty dedicated to making their restaurant a casual, upbeat and exciting restaurant, making it the perfect place for you to come and have a good time.

We know seasonal and local only food sounds a little bit like rabbit food that would leave you needing a second dinner, but with appetizers like Rhode Island Squid with fennel and preserved lemon and Soft Shell Crab with basquaise and potato, as well as entrees like Skirt Steak with potato and jalapeno and Amish Chicken with Pilsner malt and cabbage, you're bound to get your healthy fill. Plus if you still have a rumble in your tumble, there's always some Chocolate Custard with buckwheat and ricotta or Gateau Basque with tonka and grapefruit for dessert.

FYI: If you're really looking to keep your six-pack from turning into a keg, you might just want to consider getting some exercise.
