Halftime: Seahawks 10 Eagles 7

PHILADELPHIA, PA (CBS) — If you looked solely at the numbers, they would be immeasurably deceiving. At halftime, Seattle had 242 in total offense and the Eagles just 67, Seattle's 14 first downs to the Eagles' 5, Seattle's 47 plays to the Eagles' 23, yet the Seahawks held a slim 10-7 entering intermission.

LeSean McCoy, who entered the game needing 48 yards to surpass Wilbert Montgomery as the Eagles' all-time leading rusher, had 39 yards on 11 carries. McCoy had 6,491 yards rushing in 86 games, 13 fewer games than Montgomery played.

Big plays stung the Eagles. Philadelphia gave up six plays of 20 yards or more to Seattle in the first half, while the Eagles offense stumbled against the vaunted Seattle defense.

Marshawn Lynch, meanwhile, had 39 yards on 12 carries, while Russell Wilson picked apart the Eagles for 43 yards on five carries, including a 26-yard touchdown early in the second quarter.

The Eagles lone halftime score was the benefit of a botched punt. Seattle punter Jon Ryan couldn't handle a snap, Eagles' rookie Marcus Smith caused the fumble, and Zach Ertz recovered at the Seattle 14.

Six plays later, Mark Sanchez hit Jeremy Maclin with a 1-yard touchdown pass.
