3 People Displaced Following 2-Alarm Fire In Old City

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Fire crews battled a two-alarm fire in Old City Sunday. Firefighters responded to the call of flames from a four-story building, including apartments, near Front and Vine Streets around 3 a.m.
Fire officials say there's been a partial collapse on the second floor.
"There's been a partial collapse, dangerous conditions," said Davidson.
Authorities evacuated the structure and surround buildings before placing the fire under control.
Alex Secara and her husband live just a few doors down.

"There was about three sprays of water going, very impressive, a lot of smoke," said Secara.
Tony Soprano is a member of the Rivers Edge Civic Association and longtime resident of the block.
He says he'll reach out to the three people authorities say were displaced to help.
"We've never had a fire of this portion on this block, it's devastating," said Soprano.
Officials say the building to the left of the structure fire suffered some damage on the top floor.
That's where Kelly Fay rescued this cat.
"The owner knew where she would be," said Fay.
The non-profit Red Paw Emergency Relief partners with fire departments to rescue pets.
"A lot of times people don't know what happened to their cats," said Fay.
But, in light of this tragedy, this reunion will likely be one to remember.
