Fette Sau Philadelphia: Bacon Maple Brownie, $3

This Fishtown BBQ joint entices with a great drink list, savory ribs and smoked sausage worth driving across town for. But save room for the bacon maple brownie. It's a thick chunk of goodness.
How to describe? Smoky, moist, and sticky come to mind. It's real bacon that's been cooked to the point of caramelization, then chopped and added right into the batter. Toss in some walnuts and cook it into a fudgy square. It's three bucks well spent. I can't say that bacon is the start in this recipe, but it's a fine dessert.
