In order to make the playoffs, the Eagles will have to go on a late-season run, winning the next four games -- which are all division games.

Head coach Doug Pederson knows that making a playoff push is going to be a challenge but made it clear the Birds haven't thrown in the towel yet.

"This will be great for our leadership right now where we are," Pederson said. "From my standpoint, leading the football team and then challenging the leaders of the team to really embrace this time and really challenge the guys... By no means are we throwing in the towel. We got a lot of football left, we got a great opportunity, we control our own destiny and so that's going to be the message moving forward to this football team."

Pederson is confident there is no reason for major changes.

"It's all self-inflicted," Pederson said. "Even the plays that they made, our players were in position to make those plays we just didn't. They executed. So that to me doesn't deserve any kind of shake up."

Looking to turn the page, the Birds face the 3-9 New York Giants at Lincoln Financial Field next Monday.
