Darby Borough Police: Missing 10-Year-Old Boy Found Safe

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Darby Borough Police say a 10-year-old boy who went missing on Monday has been located. Police did not provide further information on the incident.

Yassir White had been last seen getting into a purple-colored Nissan Maxima on Summit Street around 3 p.m Monday.

He was wearing a green t-shirt, white shorts, and black shoes.

He was believed to be with a family acquaintance, 28-year-old Tiffany Collins. Police say she is a known substance abuser and frequents the West and Southwest sections of Philadelphia.

No word if Collins was with the boy when he was located.

The incident remains under investigation.
