Community Campaigns To Honor Fallen Philadelphia Officer
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The latest effort to honor a fallen Philadelphia police officer received a major boost Saturday.
A basketball tournament was held at Cobbs Creek Park at 61st Street and Baltimore Avenue.
The community has launched a campaign to name the basketball court at the park in memory of Officer Robert Wilson III.
Supporters at Saturday's tournament signed a petition.
Officer Wilson was killed during a robbery in North Philadelphia back in March.
