By Tony Hanson
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Closing arguments are expected today in the trial of a former Philadelphia police officer charged with obstructing a federal drug investigation to help his half-brother who was part of the gang.
Testimony ended last week with the defendant on the witness stand.
Fired officer Rafael Cordero allegedly shared sensitive information with his half-brother, and tried to get information on a search in progress.
Cordero, has pleaded not guilty.
Cordero testified that he believed his half-brother was working as an informant, and he claims false statements he allegedly made are lies by federal agents.
With trial winding-down, the former cop denies he betrayed his badge for his drug dealing half-brother.
