Clamshell Pitching Competition To Take Place In Avalon This Saturday
AVALON, N.J., (CBS) -- CBS 3'S Vittoria Woodill is in Avalon this Thursday on the 28th Street beach with a preview of a beach competition inspired by the past.
It's the "W. Norman Mackey Memorial Clamshell Pitching Competition" which is a revival of a beach game from the 1930's.
Vittoria gives the shells a toss herself and learns more about Saturday's competition to be held on the 30th Street Beach.
