Dayton and Melanie Duncan met at Temple University and have been together for seven years.
"We decided on the video because we thought it would be something different than traditional reveal pictures," says Dayton. "It's different, a little more captivating, and we thought our family would like it better. We came up with the idea and ran with it."
Colin Comstock, owner of Merryweather Films, says he met the Duncans when he made their wedding video last year.
"We shot over the course of two days, one day in Phoenixville and another day at Temple University. That's where the Duncans met and where I went to school," says Comstock.
"We wanted to step through our relationship in an abbreviated fashion," says Dayton.
He says they considered a bunch of songs – everything from classic rock to hip hop to nursery rhymes -- before going with the Fresh Prince theme.
"We were having fun with it, hopefully everyone enjoyed watching it," says Dayton.
Congratulations to the Duncans, who according to the "king of the family" and dad-to-be, are expecting their little bundle of joy in November 2014.
