Carver School A Standout For STEM Students

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A poster the Carver School tells you that the Class of 2014 earned $10.1 million in scholarships, acceptances to 3 Ivy League schools, 4 full-year scholarships to Drexel, 8 Board of Governors Scholarships to the PA State System.
....and the Engineering Design Team in a national competition earned 2nd place for a prosthetic arm and a trophy display tells you that the chess team finished 5th last year in the State competition,
Students won 2 first place awards in city computer programming and the boys' volleyball team won the District XII Class AA Championship.
Female students enjoy the Women in Computer Science Speaker Series; Gear Girls, an all female robotics team and Women of Mentoring Partnerships.
