Ben Franklin Bridge Reopened After Car Fire
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- All lanes of the Ben Franklin Bridge were temporarily closed Friday morning after a car caught fire at about mid-span of the bridge.
The fire started at about 8 a.m. Friday in the lanes heading into Philadelphia.
As a result of the fire, the lanes heading into Philadelphia were shut down for nearly an hour so firefighters could douse the fire and clean-up the scene.
All lanes of the bridge were reopened at about 9 a.m.
There were no immediate reports of any injuries.
