Candidates Vie For Flower Show Social Media Host Position At Live Auditions

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Following live auditions on Wednesday, the Philadelphia Flower Show will announce a host for its new social media hub, the "Green Room."
The "Green Room" will be the social media hub at this year's Flower Show. The Horticulture Society used social media to search for a host.
President Drew Becher says, "to narrow this down was very very difficult. We had over 150 people that submitted and let me tell you something -- Philadelphia's got talent. We sat one evening and went through some of these videos and literally were cracking up. It was unbelievable."
One of the finalists, the Parham Twins, Troy and Trevor come as a package deal. "I thought it'd be a lot of fun. I thought it was something we could have fun with. We both like flowers. We just thought this would be an opportunity to show some of our acting talent and work together and do something fun. The Flower Show is a really good time."
The winner will be announced Saturday at a PHS Pop Up Garden near Broad and Spruce.
The Flower Show runs March 1st through the 9th and this year's theme is "ARTiculture."
