PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - On today's APP-tastic and outta SITE - Burner.

While being able to make a call pretty much whenever you want is convenient, sometimes you don't want the person to know your cell number. Burner is an app that adds a layer of privacy to your calls, letting you use an alias number.

You can make and receive calls from it as long as you'd like, then easily drop it when you want to move on. It is worth noting that this isn't a free service. The longer you plan to use the fake number, the more it will cost you.
