Burlington County Community College Unveils New Culinary Arts Center
MOUNT HOLLY, NJ (CBS) - Burlington County Community College is turning up the heat on its culinary arts, hospitality and tourism program -- starting with its new 19,000-square-foot home, opening today.
The new Culinary Arts Center is jaw-dropping. Located in the historic Farmers Trust bank building in Mount Holly, it's outfitted with state-of-the-art teaching and production kitchens, a banquet hall, private dining room and cafe -- and the piece de resistance: an 80-seat demonstration theater.

Program director, Chef Beth Dinice says it's a valuable tool, "We envision using this in a couple ways: primarily, it's going to be used for demonstration purposes, so students in other campuses can actually watch the demonstration chefs and see what they're doing and learn hands on from great chefs."
But it all boils down to one thing: "We're basically trying to set our students up for great success in the culinary field, so they can go to work in phenomenal restaurants in Philadelphia and New York and also, worldwide."
