They've got a big menu – mostly sandwiches – with as much variety as most hoagie shops. And the prices – generally $6-7 – are fair enough. We asked the nice woman in the pink Phillies shirt what the best item was on the menu and she recommended the chicken parm sandwich.
Not bad. It was packed with generous chunks of breaded chicken, some grated parmigiana and more than enough runny provolone. Maybe too much provolone. But the time we sat down and pulled this sandwich from the paper bag, it was a gloppy, runny mess. Make sure you grab extra napkins.
Better than the sandwich was the bag of four fresh-baked apple fritters for $2.50. They were the size of golf balls, stuffed with chunks of apple and glazed with sugar. A nice midday dessert with a cup of coffee.
