112 S 13th St
Philadelphia, PA 19107
(215) 732-2400

Zavino's exposed brick space is quaint, the staff is attentive and they always offer you a taste before they pour. It's a great place to linger with a glass of relatively inexpensive vino. If your time is limited, grab a quick meal or a crisp, thin crusted pie--you won't be sorry.

Chick's Café

Philadelphia, PA 19147
(215) 625-3700

Owner Nella Genovese and Chef Jim Piano purchased the bar from the Ciccalese family, who owned and operated this Bella Vista neighborhood bar since 1893. Chick's Café offers 50 wines by the glass, and the friendly staff will help you select the perfect wine for your appetizer or entrée. Whether you're in the mood for tapas or a hearty meal, Chick's Café is a good choice.

Paris Wine Bar

2303 Fairmount Ave
Philadelphia, PA
(215) 978-4545

Located right next door to Fairmount's London Grill (and courtesy of the same owners!), the recently opened Paris Wine Bar offers a French-tinged ambiance and a rotating selection of local wines. Six wines are also offered "on draught," or tapped from kegs that have been specially filled by the winemakers, and selections will include two whites, three reds and one dry rose. These change frequently and highlight the best of Pennsylvania's winemakers (Allegro, Pinnacle Ridge, Galen Glenn and Manatawny).

Vintage Wine Bar & Bistro

129 South 13th Street
Philadelphia, PA 19107-4903
(215) 922-3095

Vintage offers more than 60 wines by the glass and an additional 20 by the bottle. Their wine and menu are designed to complement each other, and the portions are not overwhelming. The intimate setting (and a wine bottle chandelier!) create an atmosphere perfect for date night, or a quiet evening out with friends.

Jake & Cooper's Wine Bar

Philadelphia, PA 19127-1415
(215) 483-2750

Known for their pizza and wine, Cooper's Wine Bar (the owner shares with Jake's restaurant) is a hot spot among locals in Manayunk. They offer outdoor seating, making it an ideal location in nice weather. The casual but classy setting makes Cooper's a good choice for a lunch or dinner meeting.

Bar Ferdinand

1030 North 2nd Street
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19123
Phone: 215.923.1313

This Northern Liberties Spanish tapas-style restaurant offers a guide to their list of Spanish wines. The Spanish décor and beautiful mosaics create a warm feeling that accompanies the friendly service. Bar Ferdinand is really great for small bites and sangria, too.
