Egg Rolls are typically a delicious Asian food stuffed with cabbage and carrots. Sometimes you just want an Egg Roll. The traditional egg roll isn't the only way to eat them anymore, and they aren't just for take-out anymore. Chefs have been creating unique food combinations such as cheese steak, buffalo chicken and even dessert egg rolls. These are the top 5 places to find the best, biggest and most unique Egg Rolls in the city of Philadelphia

Rock N Rolls specializes in unique americanized Egg Rolls. Their menu is exclusively egg rolls full of unique flavors and textures. Here you can get an egg roll done in a way you may have dreamed about and didn't know it could exist. Some of the most popular are the Salmon Cheese Steak, Standard Cheese Steak, and Crab Cake rolls. They also have Buffalo chicken, and General Tso's' rolls. All are handmade and hand rolled fresh.  Rock N Rolls also has a dessert menu where you can enjoy dessert rolls, such as Apple Pie, Peach Cobbler and Strawberry Cheesecake. Shiao Lan Kung is where you go for what you think of as a traditional Egg Roll. This is a standard American-Asian restaurant which serves up familiar choices like lo-mien, fried rice, and egg foo young. So of course they have egg rolls. But this is where you go not just for a traditional egg roll but rather a big, enormous Egg Roll.  Besides their eggrolls, other popular items to enjoy are the dumplings, and soft baked squid.

Sampan Restaurant is well liked because of the great Asian Fusion food and music. Customers love the Duck Egg Rolls, and the barbecue egg roll; they also sell your standard Egg roll for the non-adventurous eater of your group.  But the Duck egg rolls are the star here.  Other popular food options are the Kobe beef Satay, and edamame dumplings which help round out the Modern Asian Street Flavors. Sampan is located in Center City Midtown and also runs Graffiti bar in the back. The bar has an exceptional happy hour, which is Monday- Saturday 4-7 with egg roll specials and an open air patio.

Most people wouldn't associate a bowling alley with delicious food, but here Chef Todd Goldman crafts up artisan dishes made from sustainable meats and local produce.
