The Phillies have a chance to complete the sweep tonight in Cincinnati with Cole Hamels on the mound. Roy Oswalt's average performance takes a little pressure off Cole. He can go out and pitch his game without the thought that he has to follow up Halladay's no-hitter and a gem by the other Roy.
This city is amazing today. Although I love our sports complex, Cincinnati's downtown riverfront stadiums leave me a little jealous. In Philadelphia we are close to the airport with excellent parking, tailgating and easy on-off ramps. Here they walk in droves to the games and the monstrous structures frame the city like a work of art.
They have a square like our Washington and Rittenhouse Squares. Today with both teams in action, the city set up a giant tailgate with big screen TV's and professional sound crews enhancing the experience. I ran into Jimmy Rollins infiltrating the Cincinnati fans. JRoll was watching the Bengals and Bucs outdoors under a brilliant sun and warm temperature.

Big night tonight. Go Phils!
