Atlantic City Officer Shot During Attempted Robbery Returns Home
ATLANTIC CITY (CBS) -- Police say more than seven weeks after being shot in Atlantic City, police officer Josh Vadell returned home.
Police say he was discharged on November 8 from the Drucker Brain Injury Unit at MossRehab in Elkins Park, PA.
Officer Vadell was shot in the head on September 3 after he and his partner interrupted an armed robbery in progress.
Authorities say he returned home to a large crowd including his family, friends and members of local police and fire departments.
